Introduction to Foamed Concrete Ecological Wall Panels
I. Performance Characteristics
1、Lightweight: The minimum density is only 1/20th that of ordinary concrete.
2、Thermal Insulation: Low-density foamed concrete designed for insulation achieves approximately 85% of the thermal insulation effect of polystyrene boards.
3、Heat Insulation: When designed based on equivalent thermal resistance, the heat insulation effect is significantly better than that of polystyrene boards (as verified by tests at the China National Building Materials Testing Institute).
4、Soundproofing: Depending on performance requirements, foamed concrete can be designed as either a sound-absorbing material or a soundproofing material (using open-cell or closed-cell structures), making it an ideal soundproofing material.
5、Durable: Unlike organic foam materials that suffer from short lifespans due to UV exposure, oxidation, temperature fluctuations, etc., foamed concrete does not require repeated insulation work for buildings, achieving a lifespan equal to that of the building itself.
6、Fire Resistant: It lacks the combustible properties of organic foam materials, posing no fire hazard risk to the building itself.
7、Waterproof: Depending on the application, waterproof foamed cement can be produced.
8、Freeze-Thaw Resistant: Due to its low water absorption rate, its freeze-thaw resistance is significantly better than that of autoclaved aerated concrete.
9、Waste-Utilizing: It can incorporate industrial, agricultural, and mineral waste residues, achieving waste reduction and emission reduction.
10、Recyclable: After being crushed, the product can be reused, causing no environmental pollution.
11、Low Cost: Since the primary raw material is cement, production costs are much lower than for other materials.
II. Structural Characteristics
1、Product Structure: The panel adopts a sandwich structure. The surface layer uses high-density foamed concrete, improving surface strength and appearance. After installation, no plastering is required; putty can be applied directly. The core layer uses low-density foamed concrete, which serves as the main insulation body.
2、Characteristic: Combines structure and insulation. This panel serves as both the roof structural layer and the roof insulation layer, overcoming the shortcoming of foam and plastic boards which only function as insulation and require a separate structural layer.
3、High Load-Bearing Capacity: After installation, workers can walk freely on the panels during roofing construction without breaking the panels (e.g., when the panel is supported 3 meters at both ends, it can bear the weight of nine people standing in the middle without cracking).
4、Excellent Hydrophobicity: The panel exhibits a lotus-leaf hydrophobic effect, is impermeable, has low water absorption, and provides good waterproofing performance.
5、High Construction Speed: The construction speed of insulation walls using this panel is 5–8 times faster than traditional insulation methods. The panel allows for large overlaps, is quick to install, requires no secondary insulation work, saving both labor and time.
